Department of Homeland Security (DHS)-Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

Mission Risk Knowledge Center (MRKC) Solution Development and Implementation

 

It is an enterprise wide risk-based analytical platform designed to provide TSA leadership with aviation and surface risk information, aviation checkpoint vulnerabilities, web-based analytical models and reports, and provide overall security domain awareness capabilities.

 

  • DullesSystems collaborated with clients in an Agile delivery environment on system integration and custom software development efforts for the large Federal security agency, with technology capabilities spanning across digital solutions, analytics and software modernization.

  • The end-to-end custom enterprise software solution is developed by team member from DullesSystems along with employees and sub-contractors of IBM and Deloitte. The product is fielded in compliance with TSA’s Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).

  • The solution is developed with  Microsoft technologies including .NET, Entity Framework 6, AngularJS 1.x, Bootstrap. WebAPI services, Code-First Repository/Database layer. The .Net App is integrated with SharePoint through SharePoint REST API for document storage.

  • Geospatial analytics are built with ESRI and Leaflet.

 

Secure Flight Solution Implementation

Secure Flight is an airline passenger pre-screening program, implemented by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Secure Flight matches passenger information against watch lists. The initial implementation resulted in the complete transfer of responsibility for passenger watch list matching to TSA from aircraft operators whose flights operate within the United States.

Member of DullesSystems performs adaptive maintenance of the multi-tier solution that includes:

  • Applications modernization, Real time messaging, inter-agency interface enablement.

  • Solution performance through spikes, burst, stress, persistence, soak and ensure High availability

  • Information Security, Security Vulnerability, ISVM Compliance, NARA compliance, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)

  • Operation Engineering support, Identity and Access Management.

  • IBM COTS products and and technology stacks are utilized to build the solution.

 

Department of Defense and Veteran Affairs

 

Inter-agency Program Office (IPO)

Integration of multi-tier electronics health record solutions of DOD and department of Veterans Affair is implemented through Inter-agency Program Office (IPO).

 

  • Team members of the firm developed proof of concept for demonstration of complete life cycle of a Data as a Service (DaaS) through IBM SOA Suite products.

  • The firm worked through Information Assurance (IA) to get DICAP, Authorization to Operate (ATO) at DISA Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) and fielded the product to site for initial operating capability (IOC).

  • The integrated solution is developed with IBM Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite Enterprise Services Bus (ESB).

 

 

                       

 

 

Military Health Systems (MHS)

For the Joint Medical Information Systems (JMIS), the team members of firm supported sustainment of Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) application for military's Theater and Garrison-based electronic health record (EHR), under the DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) program.

For the AHLTA sustainment the following efforts were performed through multiple releases:

  • IAVA-Security Update, changes to Web Services, Egates, Tuxedo Updates (FEPS, CWS), Oracle Patch-Security Updates and Cumulative Security Update to both Microsoft Security Updates from Snare works to Role based access control changes,

  • Security Matrix-Role based access control changes,

  • STIG-CAT I and CAT 2

  • Resolution of issues dindings by IA, UNIX-OS Update, Windows Data Collector, Problem Knowledge Couplers (PKC),

  • CDR, ICD updates

  • Implemented AHLTA sustainment patches following Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).

  • Clinical Data Repository (CDR) enhancements.

  • Implemented and evaluated Liferay Enterprise Portal product to support the Integrated Electronic Health Record (iEHR) Presentation Layer initiative for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
